Refund policy
We stand behind our product. If something is off, we will make it right. Here is how.
30-day satisfaction guarantee
If you received your Dirty Bastard order and the product arrived damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund your purchase, your choice. Email hello@getdirtybastard.com with your order number and, if applicable, a photo showing the issue.
Returns of unopened product
We accept returns of unopened, unused product in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, email hello@getdirtybastard.com with your order number and the reason for return. We will reply with return instructions within two business days.
- Customer pays return shipping unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days after we receive the returned product and confirm its condition.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable except when we are at fault.
- We may deduct a reasonable restocking fee if the product shows signs of use or has been opened.
Opened product
Because Dirty Bastard is a consumable personal care product, opened boxes are not eligible for return. If your opened product has an issue (damaged in transit, defective, scent or quality concern), contact us within 30 days and we will work with you on a replacement or refund. We take product-quality complaints seriously.
Subscription orders
Canceling a subscription does not automatically refund the most recent order. If you cancel within two business days of a scheduled renewal charge and the order has not yet shipped, email hello@getdirtybastard.com and we will refund the charge and cancel the shipment if possible.
Once a subscription order has shipped, the standard refund and return rules above apply. To prevent future charges, cancel your subscription at least two business days before the next scheduled renewal.
Bundle orders
The Big Bastard Bundle is a one-time purchase. The 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies to the bundle as a whole. If one of the three scents inside the bundle is damaged or defective, contact us and we will replace that individual scent.
Lost, stolen, or damaged in transit
If tracking shows your package was delivered but you did not receive it, first check with neighbors and your building's mailroom. If you still cannot locate it, email hello@getdirtybastard.com within 7 days of the marked delivery date and we will open an investigation with the carrier. If the package arrived damaged, send us a photo of the package and contents when you email us.
Gift orders
If you received a Dirty Bastard order as a gift, email us at hello@getdirtybastard.com and we will work with you on a replacement or store credit. We may ask you to provide the giver's name or order number to look up the order.
Refund processing time
Once we approve a refund, it is processed to your original payment method within 7 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.
Promotional and free-gift items
Rewards merchandise (Bastard Scent Trio air fresheners, DB Tee, Legend Sweatshirt) has no cash value and is not refundable. If reward merchandise arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it at no cost.
Fraudulent or abusive returns
We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of abuse, wear, misuse, or fraud, and to refuse future service to customers who repeatedly place orders and return them in bad faith.
